The 'This Town' hitmaker hints that 1D will get back in the future, saying it will be 'ridiculous' if they don't.

AceShowbiz - Ready for this Directioners? Niall Horan gave die-hard One Direction fans across the world a shade of hope as he said that the boy band would get back together. Niall told the Sunday People that a reunion was possible.

"We will back. We would be silly not to... ridiculous," said the Irish singer at a recent red carpet event in Los Angeles. He said that for now, the boys were "enjoying" their time off. "At the moment we are all doing our own thing. Harry wanted to do his movie and everyone is just chilling. I don't think anyone needs to worry about us we are fine," Niall said.

During an appearance on "The Graham Norton Show" on Friday, October 14, Niall explained that the members of One Direction were going their own way for now, but they would definitely make a comeback. "We can't put a date on it but it won't be in fifty years time. It's in the foreseeable future. We've talked about it but for now we'll just play by ear and see what happens," Niall said.

The 23-year-old singer, who just released his debut solo single "This Town", is currently working on his solo album. During their time off from 1D, Liam Payne has been recording new music, while Louis Tomlinson welcomed a son and is rumored to star in a biopic as soccer player James Vardy.

Meanwhile, Harry Styles is using his time to film not one but two movies. He did not only play the role of Alex in Christopher Nolan's "Dunkirk", but he's also rumored to be starring in a The Rolling Stones biopic as Mick Jagger.
