Marvel boss Kevin Feige says that it's an 'impossibility' to include the X-Men in the MCU movies like the studio did with Spider-Man in 'Captain America: Civil War'.

Marvel might reach a deal with Sony in bringing Spider-Man to the MCU in "Captain America: Civil War", but not with Fox's X-Men. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige addressed the issue in a recent interview with Variety, explaining why it's impossible for the mutant superheroes to join the MCU movies and crossover with the Avengers.
"It's an impossibility at this juncture," said Feige when asked about the possibility of Marvel teaming up for a movie with Fox, who has the film rights to "the X-Men" and "Fantastic Four". The Marvel boss went on to explain, "We certainly have enough films to keep us busy for a number of lifetimes."
It's true that Marvel has many upcoming projects lining up. After the recently-released "Doctor Strange" starring Benedict Cumberbatch, the studio has "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2", "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and "Thor: Ragnarok", which are due out in U.S. theaters on May 5, July 7 and November 3, 2017 respectively.
The next movies to arrive in the following year include "Avengers: Infinity War", which is set for a May 4 release, and "Black Panther" solo movie, which follows on July 6. In 2019, "Captain Marvel", the studio's first project focusing on a female superhero, will be released on March 8, before "Avengers 4" follows on May 3.
