Scarlett Johansson is a robot soldier The Major in the first full trailer of "Ghost in the Shell". "You are the first of your kind, but you are not invulnerable," so she was told. "You were dying. We saved you and now you save others."
She kicks ass, opting to fight in her birthday suit. Her journey to find her past finally leads her to a mysterious man and what he says shocks her to the core. "Everything they told you was a lie," he says. "They did not save your life, they stole it."
Directed by Rupert Sanders, the adaptation of Japanese manga is supported by Pilou Asbaek, Takeshi Kitano, Juliette Binoche and Michael Pitt. It is scheduled to arrive in U.S. theaters on March 31, 2017.
