Kesha Expresses Frustration Over Current Presidential Election Results
TV

Kesha is freaking out that Donald Trump is close to getting 270 electoral votes to win, while Amy Schumer still keeps the hope alive that Hillary Clinton will win.

AceShowbiz - The votes have been cast, the polls have closed and the results are coming in following the election on Tuesday, November 8. Like most Americans, celebrities are now anxiously waiting for updates on the numbers to find out who will become the next President of the U.S.

And as one of Hillary Clinton's supporters, Kesha (formerly Ke$ha) has every reason to be worried that Donald Trump will win the election. The Republican presidential nominee appears to be closing in on the White House after winning in key battleground states of Ohio and North Carolina on Tuesday night. With 244 electoral votes so far, Trump is closer to winning the race than Clinton who has so far earned 215 electoral votes.

Admitting that she's terrified, Kesha posted on Instagram, "bye bye equal rights and women's rights. what the f**k have we done.... DEAR GOD please we need a miracle right now. I want to cry ..." She has since deleted the image though.

She keeps her positive attitude as she wrote in another post, "breathe in. breathe out. I'm freaking out too but. together we are gonna be ok. we got each other, animals. spread love spread hope."

Also rooting for Clinton, Amy Schumer keeps the hope alive as she posted a few hours ago on Instagram, "Keep the faith."

Apparently realizing that Trump now has a bigger chance to win the election, the comedienne wrote later that night, "Hold each other close. It's not over but this is a reason to really look at ourselves. What motivated this?"

The likes of Kristen Bell and Kevin Jonas urged people to stay united despite the results. "No matter who wins - my offer still stands - can we PLEASE all be friends again in the morning? #TeamHuman," the star of "The Good Place" tweeted. The former boybander, meanwhile, wrote, "Whoever wins We need to remember that we are Americans that want the best for our country We need to unify, move forward. God bless America. "
