Benedict Cumberbatch Turns Presidential Election 2016 Into Children's Bedtime Story

The 'Doctor Strange' actor reads his son, played by James Corden, the tale of election 2016 in which a lady in beige outfit faces against a 'big orange monster' on her way to a beautiful white house.

AceShowbiz - Even British actor Benedict Cumberbatch gives his take on the 2016 U.S. presidential election. Stopping by "The Late Late Show with James Corden" on Monday night, November 7, a day before the election, the "Sherlock" star takes part in a sketch with the show's host James Corden to urge people to vote on Tuesday.

Cumberbatch plays Corden's father, reading his son a bedtime story before he goes to sleep. Among several titles Cumberbatch suggests, Corden is interested in "The Story of the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election".

The tale is about a lady wearing a jacket of beige, trousers of beige and shoes of beige, a clear reference to Hillary Clinton, who wanted to rule the kingdom "very, very much." On her way to the "beautiful white house," she got lost in a scary forest where there were a lot of computers, emails and fox who delivered bad news.

But the biggest thing standing on her way to the white house was a "big orange monster," who looks very much like Donald Trump. According to Cumberbatch, the monster has already swallowed 16 other monsters in the forest, including a prince named Jeb, a sleeping beauty named Ben and the Texas Senator named Ted who came from the tea party.

Cumberbatch describes the monster as having a big head but tiny wisdom. He wanted to build a big giant wall because he didn't care for anybody who wasn't like him; not Mexicans, not the kingdom's black president, not comedian Rosie O'Donnell.

When Corden asks if the lady made it to the white house, Cumberbatch says no one can't tell yet before he turns to the camera to urge people to vote, "no matter what your political affiliations are." He adds, "And as long as you do, no one can tell you that this election is rigged."

Corden delivers one last blow to Trump when he asks his father if the orange monster would grab his "pussy" in the night.
