Lady GaGa is officially announced as a musical guest for the upcoming 44th annual American Music Awards. The Mother Monster joins previously-announced opening act Bruno Mars for the awards show taking place November 20.

The Mother Monster is expected to deliver song from her new studio album "Joanne" while the "Grenade" hitmaker is expected to kick off the show at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles with tracks from his latest record "24K Magic".

Meanwhile, Sting is scheduled to perform a medley of his greatest hits and "I Can't Stop Thinking About You", the first single off his upcoming album "57th & 9th". The music icon will receive a special Merit Award last handed in 2008 to Annie Lennox. Other past honorees include Prince, Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, Johnny Cash, Whitney Houston and Bon Jovi.
