A new image of the third 'Wolverine' movie has been released, offering a new look at the young actress as Laura Kinney a.k.a. X-23.

AceShowbiz - A new image of the third "Wolverine" movie has emerged online. Shared on the official Instagram account of the movie, the black-and-white image is simply captioned with "Laura." It offers a new look at Dafne Keen as Laura Kinney a.k.a. X-23, a young mutant who is "very much" like Hugh Jackman's Logan.
X-23 made her comic book debut in 2004. She is described as Logan's female clone which is created by Dr. Zander Rice. She has the same abilities as Logan, including her healing factor, but she has only two claws on her hands. She later takes the name of Laura after Logan takes her under his wing and becomes her mentor.
In the upcoming movie, Dr. Zander Rice, who is the head of Transigen, will be portrayed by Richard E. Grant. Another villain in "Logan" is Donald Pierce, the leader of the criminal cyborg The Reavers, who will be played by Boyd Holbrook. One of his followers is portrayed by David Kallaway.
Aside from Jackman, the movie sees the return of Patrick Stewart who will reprise his role as Professor X. Additionally, Stephen Merchant will portray albino mutant Caliban in the third and final "Wolverine" movie which is slated to be released on March 3, 2017 in U.S. theaters.
