Leslie Jones sure had a lot of fun on Twitter over the weekend. The "Ghostbusters (2016)" actress spent her night flirting with Nicholas Ferroni, a New Jersey teacher whom PEOPLE dubbed Sexiest Teacher Alive, with a little help from Lin-Manuel Miranda.

The whole thing started when Ferroni, who works at Union High School in Union, New Jersey, said on Twitter that he was watching Miranda's episode on "Saturday Night Live" on his DVR. He particularly talked about a school-themed sketch which originally aired during the show's October 8 episode.

"Finally got to watch @Lin_Manuel's EP of #SNL and I LOVED the teacher segment," he tweeted. "And yes, @Lesdoggg, my students think that AXE smells good." Responding to Ferroni's post, Jones asked him if he was single.

"Yes I am, sadly," he replied, prompting Jones to ask again, "ummmmmmmm. Am I your type?" Ferroni then said, "I don't have a type and don't forget I have 150 kids." After he said he wouldn't bring his "kids" on a date, because "that would require way too many permission slips," Jones offered to give him her phone number.

"Not sure you want to tweet that out," he responded. Jones agreed and later told Ferroni she's "not doing anymore work" and if he's "interested [he] will get at [her.]" Meanwhile, Miranda who was tagged in their entire exchange just sat there and posted some hilarious GIF as the two flirted on the social media.

Ferroni ended the exchange with a tweet to Jones that read, "Don't forget I'm a teacher- I can handle any situation. Wrapping up brunch now, where you at?"

Speaking about his Twitter conversation with Jones, Ferroni told PEOPLE, "We just connected on social media and I think she's a beautiful soul, inside and out, but it was just fun banter - she can do much better than me. But I wouldn't be against grabbing dinner!"
