"Keeping Up with the Kardashians" is halted following Kim Kardashian's traumatic ordeal in Paris where she was bound, gagged and robbed at gunpoint. The filming has been put "on hold indefinitely," a source told Us Weekly.

Kim has been keeping a low profile since the armed robbery which left her "badly shaken but physically unharmed." She has postponed all upcoming commitments including a makeup masterclass in Dubai where she was supposed to appear with her makeup artist.

"Kim is still upset and things are not even close to being back to normal. She has no plans to work in the near future. She just wants to stay home with her kids. She realizes that she has lived in a bubble," a source told People. "She could have never imagined being robbed like this. She is now more worried than ever about protecting the kids. She doesn't want to let them out of sight."

Kim holed up in New York after fleeing Paris a few days ago. On Thursday, October 6, she and her husband Kanye West emerged from the apartment they temporarily resided to return back home in Los Angeles on a private plane. Kim ditched her usual glamorous look.

The mother of two hid her face under a black hat and white hoodie as she made a short walk from the apartment into an awaiting car while holding her daughter North West. Her rapper husband followed her with son Saint West in his arms.
