Simon Cowell will stay on "America's Got Talent" through 2019 or season 14. After wrapping up the 11th season this summer, the British music mogul now signs on for three more seasons as a judge on the reality TV competition.

" 'America's Got Talent' is a fantastic and, most importantly, fun show both to work on and to watch. NBC have been brilliant partners and the entire team who make this show are one of the best in the world. I've loved this past season and look forward to discovering more great talent together in the years to come," the father-of-one says.

Young singer/songwriter Grace Vanderwaal won this season. The show scored the highest ratings in five years while the winner who drew comparison to Taylor Swift has signed on with Columbia Records.

Next year, Simon Cowell will return to the judge panel along with Melanie Brown, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel. Nick Cannon is also back for the new season as a host.
