AceShowbiz - The first clip of 20th Century Fox's "Keeping Up with the Joneses" has arrived ahead of the film's release next month. The "Hello Karen" clip sees Gal Gadot's Natalie who is followed by Isla Fisher's Karen in a lingerie store as the latter gets suspicious of her ultra-sophisticated new neighbor.
The short video shows Karen asking her husband (Zach Galifianakis) on the phone while she follows Natalie to the fitting room, "You don't think there's something off about the Joneses?" Natalie comes out of the fitting room in skimpy black lingerie. "Hello Karen," she surprises Karen before telling her, "I was just leaving Tim [Jon Hamm] a voicemail."
Natalie towers over Karen as she adds, "He likes to hear from me when I'm trying on lingerie. It's one of our things. Do you and Jeff have a thing?" The stunned Karen replies, "Yes. Jeff and I have a thing. We do it really fast in case the kids come running into our room."
Directed by Greg Mottola ("Paul", "Superbad"), "Keeping Up with the Joneses" centers on a suburban couple who becomes embroiled in an international espionage plot when they discover that their seemingly perfect new neighbors are government spies.
Produced by Laurie Macdonald and Walter F. Parkes, the spy comedy is set to hit U.S. theaters on October 21. It also stars Patton Oswalt, Matt Walsh, Maribeth Monroe, Kevin Dunn, Amy Parrish and Jeff Chase.
