The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker stepped in at the last minute to fill in for Ellen who wasn't feeling well and was unable to tape her talk show on Wednesday.

AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus is guest hosting "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". The 23-year-old singer/actress stepped in at the last minute to fill in for Ellen DeGeneres, who was sick and was unable to film the Thursday episode of her talk show on Wednesday, September 28.

Ellen wrote on Twitter to tell her fans about her condition, "The bad news is I'm sick & can't tape my show today. The good news is @MileyCyrus dropped everything to host for me. Thanks, Miley!" Miley also assured everyone that "Ellen will be fine."

In a clip of the Thursday episode, Miley danced her way onto the stage, just like Ellen usually does. "Obviously, I'm not Ellen. I am Miley Cyrus, how's it going everybody?" she says in her monologue. "I know all of you came to see Ellen, so I'm gonna do my best to make you very happy."

She jokingly says, "I'm dressed like her, I smell like her, just before I came out here I actually kissed a girl so, uh, thank you. Thank you for staying. I'll admit I'm a little bit nervous because I've never hosted a show with my clothes on before so this is so weird."

Miley will interview Sarah Jessica Parker and Idina Menzel in the episode.

The "Can't Be Tamed" singer is no stranger to hosting. She has hosted "Saturday Night Live" three times. She is currently serving as a coach on NBC's "The Voice" and has a role on Woody Allen's Netflix series "Crisis in Six Scenes".
