AceShowbiz - Michelle Rodriguez is blasted for being "transphobic." After the 38-year-old actress posted a behind-the-scenes picture of herself undergoing makeover to look like a man for her role in "(Re) Assignment" on Tuesday, September 13, some fans slam her for being "insensitive" to the transgender community.

In the picture she shared with her almost 3 million followers, she said, "I never felt more like a woman than when I played a man. For the rest of the film I was a man stuck in a newly operated sex changed body. I had fake boob covers to look like man implants & I wore a fake hairy 'mangina' which you can't really see cause they made it so hairy."

The "Fast and Furious" actress claimed that she was happy to take the plunge. She continued, "The industry seems to be running low on edgy creativity & 'real take a chance' controversy, sometimes it makes me want to scream, instead I did what I always do when I'm bored with the 'status quo', I shot crazy b movie Indy to express my frustration."

She added, "I wish I had more than a few weeks to prepare for this flic, I would have gained a lot more weight, & we would have made some hairy arms to match my Mediterranean look. I feel that my skinny build sometimes comes off hermaphoditic in the film, especially when you add the crazy male chest for the nude sequences."

After Michelle revealed the premise of the indie flick, some fans reacted by hitting back at her in the picture's comments. "F**k making trans folks the punchline. F**k movies where being trans is contrived as 'punishment' for characters who do bad s**t," user @whyseg wrote.

"Sorry Michelle, girl you gotta know I love you, but this movie sounds insensitive as f**k to the transgender community. Turning their very real struggle into a fun little tour for you and a cheap shock value movie," another user wrote.

One user commented on her photo, "Your way of kicking against the status quo is transphobia, which, surprise, is part of the status quo." Another user added, "This is the most transphobic s**t I have seen in years."
