Previous rumor claimed the 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker was found dead in her bathtub on September 5.

AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus is still alive and active on social media following recent death hoax. On Monday, September 5, Now8News claimed the "Wrecking Ball" singer was discovered lifeless by her entourage after drug overdose.

The site reported, "Los Angeles investigators are trying to determine the cause of death. Officials refused to comment on reports that the famed actress/singer drowned from a prescription pill overdose. They have, however, made it clear that there were no signs of foul play."

It's clear that Miley is very much alive as she has been updating her Twitter and Instagram pages. On Monday, Miley shared a throwback picture of her when she was 1 year old. "My 1st birffffday..... My dad says nothin has changed about me as I've gotten older... I still just half listen with only one ear out," she captioned it.

On Tuesday, she shared a sweet response to Troye Sivan's story about how she helped him come out. She wrote, "Thank you for being brave Mistaaaa @troyesivan. inspired by your beautiful words to continue my work / purpose."

Miley also promoted her new episode of "The Voice on Snapchat".

While Miley hasn't responded to the death hoax, a source tells HollywoodLife.com that the coach of "The Voice" is simply laughing it off. "Miley thinks that it is hilarious that she is the latest celebrity to be caught in the death hoax," says the source, "When it happens again she hopes the people who make the hoax think of a more clever way on the reason for her demise since the bathtub reason was pretty weak for her more morbid sense of humor."
