Stanley Tucci Rules Out 'Devil Wears Prada' Sequel
Movie

The Caesar Flickerman of 'The Hunger Games' has no interest in reprising his role in 'Revenge Wears Prada' if it ever gets made.

Stanley Tucci is not interested in "Devil Wears Prada" sequel. He didn't think a second movie would work, unlike former co-stars Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt who were open to reprise their roles if the second book "Revenge Wears Prada" was ever made into a movie.

"That's never going to happen," said the actor who played an art director in the original film reportedly based on Vogue's Anna Wintour. "That role was so great because it was so beautifully written and he was incredibly funny and there was a real substance to it. It was a truly great American studio movie in every way. Perfect in every way."

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter at the Deauville Film Festival where he received a career tribute, Tucci added, "Sometimes it's best just to leave things. If you try to redo it, let's face it, there are very few sequels that actually work."
