Chris Brown's lawyer Mark Geragos insists that his client was set up by his accuser Baylee Curran. During a press conference on Friday, September 2, Mark said, "As far as I can tell, there were no drugs found. As far as I can tell, there were no guns found in the house."
While Baylee alleged Breezy pointed a gun at her as she was admiring a diamond necklace at his Tarzana, California home on Tuesday, Mark said, "There was no jewelry found in the house that matched what she described."
In a bizarre twist, Mark suggested that Baylee might have a personal connection with Breezy's baby mama Nia Guzman. "One of the things we're investigating is that there are now reports the accuser has a relationship with the mother of his child," the lawyer explained, "What's particularly disturbing to me is that this comes on the heels of a custody battle that he won - and that the lawyer in Houston who represented the mother of Royalty immediately came out and was making statements."
Nia's attorney Carl Moore previously claimed that Royalty was at Breezy's house when the alleged gun incident happened.
"That is categorically false. [Royalty] was not in the house," Mark said, "I don't want to be a conspiracy theorist, but that certainly would be one angle."
Six witnesses including rapper Ray J spoke to police and none corroborated Baylee's allegation against Breezy, according to Mark. "Nothing happened. This woman got irate when she was asked to leave," the lawyer stated, "She was acting in an erratic manner."
