The 'Aloha' actress croons about 'the hearts that ache' in the new sneak peek of Damien Chazelle's upcoming movie.

After Ryan Gosling showed off his singing skills in the first "La La Land" teaser trailer, now it's Emma Stone's turn to show her vocal chops. She croons a song called "Audition" about heartbreak as footage of the romantic musical dramedy is shown.
"She captured a feeling, sky with no ceiling, the sunset inside a frame," she sings the ballad while his co-star plays a piano. "Here's to the ones who dream, foolish as they may seem. Here's to the hearts that ache, here's to the mess we make."
Directed by Damien Chazelle ("Whiplash"), it follows a romantic relationship between a dedicated jazz musician and an aspiring actress as they are exploring the joy and pain of pursuing their dreams. The movie is due December 9.
