Chris Hardwick, 44, and Lydia Hearst, 31, are officially married! The Nerdist CEO and "Talking Dead" host exchanged wedding vows with his actress fiancee on Saturday, August 20 in Pasadena, California. They said "I do" in front of 450 guests.

Different flowers like red roses, Tardis blue hydrangea and Vanda orchids were among the decorations inspired by the couple's favorite science fiction and comic book series. The bride wore a custom-designed Christian Siriano gown and the groom donned a Prada suit.

"I could never have envisioned a more perfect wedding day," Lydia told PEOPLE before the nuptials. "It's better and more magical than I could have ever dreamed of ... It's going to be perfect, and even if it isn't that's how it was meant to be. I'm more excited than anything else!"

A week before the big day, she teased her wedding dress on Instagram, "I am truly blessed to have you in my life @hardwick. I love you, and I will never stop loving you. I cannot wait to marry you in one week." She also posted a picture of their zombified selves to pay homage to the AMC show that he hosted. Meanwhile, her groom shared a picture from the wedding rehearsal.

In lieu of gifts, the guests were asked to make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Operation Smile, GLAAD, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and the Best Friends Animal Society.

"Thank you for all your well-wishes and wonderful words lately! Some of you have even gone so far as to ask where we're registered (which is very sweet) so I'm sharing this...@lydiahearst and I are incredibly fortunate people and didn't feel right taking gifts from anyone so our wedding registry instead is a menu of five wonderful charities that we asked our guests to pick any or all of to make a donation toward," Hardwick said on Instagram. "If you're feeling generous and able, this support of others is the best way to support us on our magical day! No matter what, we appreciate you!!!"
