"Mr. Robot" just confirmed a fan theory that sparked since the season premiere. Just as some people speculated, [SPOILER ALERT!] Elliot has been locked up in prison this whole time. The revelation came toward the end of the August 17 episode when he told Krista about getting a letter and staying with his mom.

"Elliot, where do you think you are right now?" Krista asked him, bringing him back to reality. And suddenly his surroundings changed to show the real place he has been living in, with a prison meeting room as Krista's office and a female prison guard as his mom.

Meanwhile, FBI Agent Dominique questioned Angela about what she did on the feds' restricted floor. She said she was there making lunch plans with the flirty agent she bumped into, but Dom didn't buy it.

Angela moved on to her other project, getting the class-action lawsuit to drop the contingency about the independent investigation to appease Price. She used this opportunity to get a transfer over to the Risk Management department. There, she pitched a project that would give her access to the Washington Township case files.

In the next episode titled "eps2.6succ3ss0r.p12", Darlene is put in an intense situation as several agents have apparently been watching her. According to the official synopsis, "A video is released by fsociety, Darlene decides to act on an old desire." The new episode airs Wednesday, August 24 at 10/9c on USA.
