Confirming that Lorelai and Luke are still 'together' and 'sort of figuring out our next step,' Patterson also teases the couple's best scene ever.

Scott Patterson has confirmed the relationship status of his character Luke and Lorelai (Lauren Graham) on "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life". While he "can't share much" about the upcoming Netflix series, he revealed that the couple's indeed together as hinted in a picture of them holding hands.

"I can tell you that we are together," he told PEOPLE when met at the Kiehl's National LifeRide for amfAR celebration in New York City on Wednesday, August 3. "We are together and we're sort of figuring out our next step."

When asked about speculations that Lorelai could be pregnant on the four-part continuation, Patterson was playing coy. "I can't say," he told Us Weekly. "[If they did co-parent I] think it would be exactly as we are without a child. Maybe with a little bit of a power struggle but with love and some understanding. Maybe a couple of blowouts just like everybody else has. I don't think it would be different than anyone else."

He, however, revealed that Lorelai and Luke would have the best scene ever on the revival. The 57-year-old teased, "We did it in one of these four chapters. There are two that are penultimate Luke and Lorelai scenes. It will be the scenes to end all Luke and Lorelai scenes. They are just fantastic. I haven't seen them, but I've been told."

"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" will be released November 25 on Netflix. Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop, Keiko Agena, Liza Weil, Danny Strong, Milo Ventimiglia, Jared Padalecki and Matt Czuchry are also returning for the revival.
