The 'We Don't Talk Anymore' hitmaker takes to Twitter to respond to the 'Love Yourself' crooner's Instagram post about writing a song.

AceShowbiz - Charlie Puth took to Twitter on Tuesday, August 2 to post an apparent response to Justin Bieber's songwriting advice. The "Love Yourself" hitmaker previously posted on Instagram a message to his fans about writing a song.

"If u write music take notes from the greatest writer to ever do it Jason Boyd aka Poo bear," Justin wrote to his followers. Shortly after, Charlie tweeted, "If you write music...write from the heart. You don't take notes, you hear them."

While Charlie didn't mention Justin's name, it's obvious that the "One Call Away" singer was shooting down the "Sorry" crooner's message.

It isn't the first time Charlie has thrown shade at Justin. The 24-year-old singer yelled "F**k you Justin Bieber" while performing his Selena Gomez collab "We Don't Talk Anymore" during a concert in Dallas back in March.

Charlie later took to Twitter to clarify his "joke," writing, "Hey everyone. I feel like I need to clear something up. What I said at the concert last night about Justin was meant to be a joke. However... the way it was said mid song did not sound like one. I am a massive @JustinBieber fan and I have nothing but great things to say about him and his music always." The tweets, however, were deleted shortly afterwards.
