John Newman Teases 'Ole' Music Video, Katy Perry Shares Another Teaser for 'Rise'

AceShowbiz - John Newman and Katy Perry took to Twitter on Monday, August 1 to tease their upcoming music videos. The music video for John's collab with Calvin Harris, "Ole", is due out on Friday, August 5, while Katy's "Rise" video for the 2016 Rio Olympics is slated for August 4 release.

In the teaser video for "Ole", John and Calvin were seen relaxing by the pool with a bunch of bikini-clad women. The English singer wore a red floral print shirt while the Scottish DJ sported a light blue floral print one. "The 'Ole' video me and @CalvinHarris shot in Mexico drops this Friday!" John captioned it.

Katy, meanwhile, shared a 27-second teaser of the "Rise" music video, showing the songstress struggling with her pink parachute at a giant warehouse. She was later seen dangling from a rocky cliff while singing, "I will still rise."

In a previous teaser clip for "Rise", Katy was seen trekking across a desert mountainscape while dragging along the pink parachute behind her. "Don't be surprised. I will still rise," the 31-year-old singer sang before rising from beneath the parachute under water while gasping for breath.

"Rise" will serve as the soundtrack of NBC's coverage of the upcoming Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
