AceShowbiz - James McAvoy channels his creepy side in the first trailer of M. Night Shyamalan's "Split". The Professor Charles Xavier of "X-Men" movie series plays a man named Kevin who has multiple personalities. "He's done awful things to people and he'll do awful things to you," one of his personalities tells one of the girls he kidnapped.
Kevin has evidenced 23 personalities to his trusted psychiatrist, but there remains one still submerged who is set to materialize and dominate all the others. Compelled to abduct three teenage girls, he reaches a war for survival among all of those contained within him - as well as everyone around him - as the walls between his compartments shatter apart.
The psychological horror thriller is scheduled to hit theaters across the country on January 20, 2017. Betty Buckley and Anya Taylor-Joy are among the supporting cast members.
