The 'Stitches' hitmaker performs his new song in a black-and-white video to hype up the release of his new album 'Illuminate'.

AceShowbiz - Shawn Mendes has rolled out a black-and-white music video in support of his new song "Ruin" while waiting for his new LP. The 17-year-old Canadian singer performs the slow jam on a stage in an empty theatre while strumming his guitar.
Mendes first sang the song in front of the crowd during his March concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York. It will be included in his next studio installment "Illuminate". Fans pre-ordering the new album will get a free download of the track.
"Illuminate" is Mendes' sophomore set to follow up his 2015 breakout debut "Handwritten" which topped Billboard Hot 200. The "Stitches" hitmaker who cited John Mayer, Ed Sheeran, Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars as his musical influences said he was "pouring every single thing I have into this album."
