Christina Grimmie was laid to rest in a private funeral service in her homestate of New Jersey on Thursday, June 16. The funeral was only attended by her family and close friends. A public viewing was held on Friday evening at the Fellowship Alliance Chapel in Medford, followed by a memorial service at 8 P.M.

Earlier in the day, a heartfelt tribute was posted on Christina's Twitter and YouTube page. "Christina Grimmie was taken from all of us far too soon, but the impact she had on this world in the short 22 years of her life will carry on forever," read the caption, "In loving memory Christina Grimmie...We all love you."

Christina's burial follows a candlelight vigil in Evesham Township on Monday, June 13. At the time, her brother Marcus thanked fans for their love and support. "[Christina] loved this town, she loved this state, she loved singing, she loved the Lord and she loved me and she was my baby sister," he told the crowd, "She's in a better place....Thank you to everyone once again. I wish I could elaborate more, you guys didn't know her like I did, so thank you. This is awesome."

Christina was fatally shot outside of her concert with band Before You Exit at Orlando's Plaza Live on Friday night, June 10. The assailant also shot himself shortly thereafter.
