Ubisoft and 20th Century Fox has released a new promotional video for "Assassin's Creed" movie. The promo video offers a first look at Brendan Gleeson and Michael K. Williams' characters and reveals all-new footage from the upcoming video game-based movie.

In the video, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) is seen experiencing the Bleeding Effect, a side effect of using the Animus. Cal appears to experience pain or disorientation when seeing his ancestor Aguilar de Nerha (also played by Fassbender) walking around the Abstergo facility.

Michael says in the video, "The assassins are fighting for freewill and their main rivals are Templars. The Templar are trying to enhance humankind through science."

"I think 'Assassin's Creed' has a really deep concept and idea which is going back into time and having some sort of relationship with the ancestor that's come before you," says director Justin Kurzel, "The overall journey of the film is through the eyes our protagonist that Michael Fassbender's playing."

Michael adds, "He starts to learn that he comes from a lineage of assassin's."

"Assassin's Creed", also starring Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons, is coming to U.S. theaters on December 21.
