TNT has postponed "The Last Ship" season 3 premiere in the wake of Orlando mass shooting. The two-hour third season premiere will not air on Sunday, June 12 as respect to the victims of the massacre.

"As a result of the shootings this weekend in Orlando, tonight's originally scheduled season premiere of 'The Last Ship' has been postponed," the Turner network said in a statement. "Our hearts are with the victims and their families."

The first episode of the "Last Ship" third season reportedly features a gunman opening fire in a Vietnamese nightclub, killing many people. Titled "The Scott Effect", the first episode follows CNO Tom Chandler (Eric Dane) going Asia to investigate a possible mutation of the Red Flu. Captain Slattery (Adam Baldwin) and his crew deliver cure to Southeast Asia but there may be an unexpected threat in the region.

In the second episode, "Rising Sun", Chandler must find a way to return to his old crew and investigate a dangerous new foe.

TNT hasn't announced a new premiere date for "The Last Ship".
