The raptress and the EDM superstar pose together in what looks like a studio as they keep building the anticipation of their 'dope' collaboration.

AceShowbiz - Earlier this month, Iggy Azalea excited her fans when she revealed that she had a new song with Zedd underway. The Australia-born raptress and the Russian/German DJ kept the anticipation high by posing together for a photo that he later shared on Instagram late Wednesday night, May 25.

Sporting a black-and-white jacket, Iggy smiled at the camera as she's pictured next to Zedd in what appeared to be a studio. Details of their collaboration, including title and release date, remain under tight wraps, but a lot of their fans already expressed their excitement in the comment section.

While it's still unclear how it would sound like, the song is pretty important for Iggy. A couple weeks ago, she told a fan that she delayed her sophomore album "Digital Distortion" so she could include the track that she promised would be "dope."

The follow-up to Iggy's 2014 debut set "The New Classic" is still left with no official release date. The upcoming project, which won't have more than 10 songs, has so far been preceded by buzz track "Azillion" and lead single "Team". The 24-year-old femcee will promote her new music with a mini concert on "Good Morning America" later this summer.
