Responding to reports that she's a fan favorite to be a Bond girl, the 'Quantico' star says she wants to be the next James Bond.

Put Priyanka Chopra on the list of contenders to be the next Bond! With Daniel Craig already stating several times that he had no interest in returning for another 007 movie, studio execs are now probably still looking for a replacement and the Indian actress has declared her interest to be the first female James Bond.
In an interview with Complex magazine, the "Quantico" star responded to the possibility of playing a Bond girl as she has been dubbed one of fan favorites for the part. "F**k that - I wanna be Bond," she said.
Asked by TheWrap if she had the qualifications to play Bond, she claimed, "I don't think Bond does too much, he's just suave and sexy. He rolls out with his martini and fancy cars. Wow, it sounds like my life already."
As for the character's name should she take on the mantle, Chopra doesn't want to change it. "It has to be James. It's so hot," she said.
But Chopra is not the only actress who is eying the role. Gillian Anderson recently responded to the #NextBond fan campaign and it looked like she's up for it. She reposted on Twitter a fan-made poster featuring her as the new 007 and wrote in the caption, "It's Bond. Jane Bond. Thanks for all the votes!"
