The first pictures of Calvin Harris' terrifying car accident have been released and they're pretty shocking. In the photos, obtained by TMZ, a red VW Bug could be seen smashing into the side of a black SUV in which Calvin was a passenger.

A woman, probably the driver of the VW, was seen lying on the street as paramedics treated her. According to the site, if the impact happened just a second earlier, it could have easily been a head-on collision.

The incident happened on Friday night, May 20 while Calvin was driven to a Los Angeles airport to catch a flight to Las Vegas. The 16-year-old girl in the VW was reportedly speeding up Coldwater Canyon when she lost control and nearly slammed into the mountain. She jerked the wheel and ended up crashing into Calvin's SUV.

Calvin was rushed to a local hospital for a facial laceration. Sources tell the site that the Scottish DJ asked for a private room but the hospital couldn't accommodate him. He reportedly left the hospital against medical advice. A rep for Calvin, however, disputes that and says he was cleared to leave.

The VW driver, who was ejected from the car, suffered broken pelvis.

Calvin canceled his Vegas gig at the OMNIA Nightclub on Saturday night, May 21. He still has two more shows scheduled to take place at the club on May 27 and June 3.
