The Scottish DJ rules out a collaboration with his girlfriend, because the 'Shake It Off' hitmaker won't even have new music coming out in the near future.

Calvin Harris has made it clear that he currently doesn't have plan to do a collaboration with Taylor Swift. In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, he said that he and his girlfriend actually had never talked about working on music together, but he was pretty sure it wouldn't happen anytime soon because she's going to take a "long break."
"We haven't even spoken about it," the Scottish DJ said. "But I can't see it happening. No. She's about to take a long break, you know?" So, it means there won't be a Talvin collaboration and new music from Swift in the near future.
Swift dropped her latest album, "1989", in 2014. The record broke multiple records upon its arrival and generated some No. 1 hit singles including "Shake It Off" and "Blank Space". She supported the project with a massive tour that wrapped up late last year.
Meanwhile, Harris has lots of new music underway. He's currently working on a follow-up to his own 2014 set "Motion" and recently dropped "This Is What You Came for" as a preview of what's to come. The song features guest vocals from Rihanna, whom he previously collaborated with on the chart-topping "We Found Love".
