In an interview following the release of his new album, the rapper reveals that he and 'Ye 'were supposed to do a mixtape together.'

AceShowbiz - Drake's next projects could include more collaborations with Kanye West. Following the release of his long-awaited album "Views", the Toronto native sat down for an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1's "OVO Sound Radio" and that's when he revealed that he might reunite with 'Ye for a joint album.

"We were supposed to do a mixtape together - an album together. Maybe now we can get that done," said Drizzy, who praised Kanye, "He's a really good guy. I grew up with him as a role model... It's amazing to be his friend... We can link with each other and discuss anything. Feeling a way on this or just leisure talk, we have a great relationship."

Drake also discussed a lot of other topics during the interview, including his strained relationship with Nicki Minaj. "I don't really talk to Nicki," he said of the raptress who's been dating his nemesis Meek Mill.

"[Nicki's] another person I have a lot of love for, a lot of respect to her and the past and what we built. I understand what love is and I understand her personal situation. She dealt with me how I would expect her to - with class. I would do the same," he explained. "I have respect for Nicki, but unfortunately we haven't spoken."

"Views", first announced as "Views from the 6", is now available for purchase on iTunes. Kanye's guest verse on "Pop Style" didn't make the cut to the album, but he's still credited as a producer on "U With Me?". Other names making contributions to the LP include Rihanna, Future, Pimp C, Noah "40" Shebib and Boi-1da.
