AceShowbiz - Prince George stole the show at Kensington Palace on Friday night, April 22 when he met President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. The 2-year-old son of Prince William and Kate Middleton rocked a white bathrobe paired with blue gingham pajamas and velvet slippers.

Pictures then emerged of George shaking hands with Obama in his bathrobe. The Gingham Blue Trim Robe, from online retailer My 1st Years, started a frenzy online and sold out within minutes of the photos going public, as eager parents tried to copy the look.

"We are thrilled that Prince George chose our robe to wear when he met President Obama," founder of My 1st Years Daniel Price tells PEOPLE, "Our website has gone crazy ever since the photo was released!"

Mr. and Mrs Obama went to Kensington Palace to have a dinner with William, Kate and Prince Harry. George was allowed to stay up 15 minutes past his bedtime to greet Mr. and Mrs. Obama. Princess Charlotte was fast asleep. "George stayed up for a few minutes when the President and the First Lady arrived but Charlotte was in bed," a source told Mail Online.

A Kensington rep said, "Prince George stayed up to meet The President and First Lady when they arrived at Kensington Palace. He was able to show The President and First lady a rocking horse - given to George when he was born - and a stuffed toy - given to George when Princess Charlotte was born - that had been previously given to him by President and Mrs Obama."
