Kesha, formerly Ke$ha took to Instagram on Sunday, March 27 to blast body shamers. The "TiK ToK" hitmaker posted a black-and-white picture of her lounging in a pool wearing black bikini and sunglasses. She had a strongly worded message for body shamers.
"Not a slave to perfection right now. F**k it. ***body shamers please f**k off ain't nobody got time for it. @lhorizonpalmsprings in my skivvies." Kesha was seen putting one hand up to brush against her face. She's laying her tummy down so all we can see was her backside through the tiny layer of water.
Kesha has always been against body shaming after she checked into rehab in 2014 to deal with eating disorder issues. Last year, the 29-year-old singer told Vogue, "I've had a lot of ups and downs. It's been quite a journey. I went to a dark place. There was a lot of not eating - and I started to think being hungry to the point of feeling almost faint was a positive thing."
"I realized being healthy is the most important thing I can do for myself. Now, I'm trying to embrace the skin I'm in. It's difficult sometimes," she continued, "Every day I have to look in the mirror and make the choice to be kind to myself. This is who I am-I have to love that."
