J.K. Rowling has released the first installment of her first U.S. magic series "History of Magic in North America" ahead of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them". The first piece titled "Fourteenth Century - Seventeenth Century" is now live at Pottermore.

"Fourteenth Century - Seventeenth" centers on the early days of the magical community on the continent, the Native Americans and skin-walkers, and an area of wizarding that has kept "Harry Potter" readers curious for years, wandless magic.

For each of the next three days, a new story will appear on Pottermore at 9 A.M. EST. "Seventeenth Century and Beyond" will debut on March 9, "Rappaport's Law" on March 10 and "1920s Wizarding America" on March 11.

According to EW, "Seventeenth Century and Beyond" tells the real histories of the Salem witch trials and the Scourers (a rogue band of magical mercenaries). "Rappaport's Law" centers on the Magical Congress of the United States of America, the U.S. version of the Ministry of Magic. "1920s Wizarding America", meanwhile, follows the story of Wolfe, Jonker, Quintana, and Beauvais, the American makers of the finest wizarding implements.

"History of Magic in North America" series are all leading to the arrival of Newt Scamander, played by Eddie Redmayne, in New York and the events of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" which is set to hit U.S. theaters on November 18.
