Jon Snow is indeed on "Game of Thrones" season 6. Kit Harington himself has confirmed that he will appear in the next installment of the hit HBO series, but he still insists that his character is dead.

"Look, I'm not in the show any more. I'm definitely not in the new series," Harington initially told Time Out London during an interview. When asked if he filmed any new scenes for the series, he admitted, "I filmed some scenes of me being dead," jokingly adding, "It's some of my best work."

However, the 29-year-old actor, who is dating his former "Thrones" co-star Leslie Rose, claimed he knew very little about what would happen on the show. "I don't have a clue. I know how long I'm a corpse for, but I can't tell you that!" he coyly added.

There have been speculations that Jon Snow is still alive despite being stabbed by his Night's Watch brothers at the end of season 5 as Harington was spotted on the set of the medieval drama in Belfast where the sixth season was filmed. He, moreover, has been keeping Jon's long locks.

"Game of Thrones" season 6 premieres April 24 on HBO.
