Kanye West Throws Shade at Taylor Swift While Hitting Back at Critic in Latest Twitter Rant

West makes a reference to Swift's two Album of the Year Awards in one of the tweets he posts in response to producer Bob Ezrin's criticism about the rapper's music.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West is at it again. He has just launched yet another Twitter rant, this time directed at producer Bob Ezrin who wrote an unpleasant review about the rapper and his new album, "The Life of Pablo". The 38-year-old superstar interestingly took a jab at Taylor Swift in one of the tweets he posted on Tuesday night, February 23.

To those who have no idea who Ezrin is, just like West does, he's a music producer best known for his work with Lou Reed, Alice Cooper, Kiss and Pink Floyd among others. The 66-year-old musician recently wrote in a Lefsetz newsletter his thought on 'Ye's music and compared him to other big names in rap like Jay-Z, Tupac Shakur, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and even Macklemore.

"[West] didn't open up new avenues of public discourse like N.W.A, or introduce the world to a new art form like Grandmaster Flash, or even meaningfully and memorably address social issues through his music like Marshall, Macklemore and Kendrick," he argued. "Kanye's greatest achievements have been in the form of excessive behavior, egomaniacal tantrums and tasteless grandstanding."

West, of course, disagrees with Ezrin. "Has anybody ever heard of Bob Ezrin??? What the f**k does he know about rap," he wrote, beginning his lengthy rant. "I'm tired of old people that have no connection with anything trying to comment on music! Do something relevant... Please don't speak on me bro ever again!!!"

Though he'd previously promised he would "never speak on kids again," he mentioned Ezrin's children in his tweets, saying they must be ashamed of their dad. "Sorry for speaking about kids... but could you imagine if you were Bob Ezrin's kids...," he continued. "I'm so sorry for them... I will send them free Yeezys to make up for the embarrassment that you have caused your family!"

He went on calling out Ezrin for saying Macklemore's music was more important than his. "Bob please never speak in public again... you are everything that is wrong with the old guard... Rock and Roll was stolen... Rap was exploited," he said, before seemingly referring to Swift and her two Album of the Year Awards from the Grammys.

"I made ['My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy'] and 'Watch the Throne' in one year and wasn't nominated for either and you know who has 2 albums of the year," he added. "Welcome to pop culture!!!" He concluded his harsh tweets, "Ezrin I truly feel sorry for your friends and family that they have had to suffer an idiot like you for so many years... God bless the fools ... all positive vibes!"
