Demi Moore has landed her first major TV role since "General Hospital" in the 1980s. The Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated actress is set to star on "10 Days in the Valley", a drama series from "Rookie Blue" co-creator and executive producer Tassie Cameron.

The show follows Jane Sadler (Moore), "an overworked writer and single mother in the middle of a fractious separation. When her 5-year-old daughter is taken from bed in the middle of the night, Jane must put everything on the line - including her TV series, her loyalties, and her own deep secrets - to get her child back."

Cameron also pens the script and will serve as showrunner. According to Deadline which first reported the news, the project is currently being shopped to networks. No other cast members are announced so far.

Moore appeared on daytime soap "General Hospital" from 1981-1984. Her last TV role was when she guest starred on "Will & Grace" in 2003. She has starred in a bunch of films, most recently in "Very Good Girls" and "Forsaken".
