Angela Bassett has confirmed that she will return for the next installment of the hit FX anthology series.

AceShowbiz - At least we now know one of the actors who will star in the next chapter of "American Horror Story". Angela Bassett has confirmed during an interview with Larry King that she will return for the upcoming sixth season.
"I am. I signed up after that first year," she said when asked if she would return for the next season. She also shared what made her enjoy working on the show so much. Details of her role are still unknown.
Bassett first joined "AHS" in the third season, "Coven", playing Voodoo queen Marie Laveau. The role earned her an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie. She later starred in the fourth and fifth season.
Series co-creator Ryan Murphy said last October that he had asked Lady GaGa, who had a lead role in "Hotel", to return for the next installment as he's amazed by her brilliant acting. Plot details are expected to be revealed in March.
