Caitlyn Jenner Plans Beauty Line, Regrets Not Telling Late Dad About Gender Identity
Celebrity

Caitlyn is looking to trademark her name and sits down at the University of Pennsylvania to talk about her biggest regret.

AceShowbiz - Caitlyn Jenner wants to create a beauty line under her name, following in the footsteps of her teenage daughter Kylie Jenner. The plan is still in early stages but the 66-year-old reality star has already applied for exclusive rights to her name.

While Kylie has released a lip kit and is now branching into nail polish, "Jenner's application covers fragrances, makeup remover, nail polish, and skin care," TMZ reports. Besides having a beauty line, Kylie recently launched a mobile game with her sister Kendall Jenner.

Caitlyn Jenner recently spoke at the University of Pennsylvania about her struggle with her gender identity. She said her biggest regret was not being truthful to her father, WWII veteran named William who died in 2000. It "will always haunt me," so she said.

"I think eventually he would have come around. He would have never understood, he didn't know anything - gay, trans, all that other stuff," she explained. "But I'm sure he's looking down from heaven right now and saying, 'Well, you're doing a good job.' "

But Caitlyn insisted she wasn't a "role model." She said, "I'm so new to this community, I don't expect to be one." She additionally denied claim that she only came out for fame. "I don't need the money. So I don't understand that claim," she stated. "No one who transitions for financial gain. No way."

Joined at the event by Vanity Fair writer writer Buzz Bissinger, the "I Am Cait" star also talked about her mother. She was not sure how her mom would react to her transition but she had since described her mother as her "best ally" even though she still called her Bruce sometimes.

When asked why she wasn't a Democrat given the party's support for LGBTQ community, she said, "I have gotten more flack for being a conservative Republican than I have for being trans." She added, "Just because you change gender doesn't mean you change your core beliefs."
