The first full trailer for Netflix's "Pee-wee's Big Holiday" has been made available for viewing pleasure. It shows how Pee-wee Herman's (Paul Reubens) fateful trip begins with an encounter with a mysterious stranger, played by "True Blood" hunk Joe Manganiello.
"Never been in a fight? ... broken a rule?" Manganiello's character asks Pee-wee. He then urges Pee-wee to embrace his adventurous side and go on his first-ever holiday that leads to so many unforgettable meetings with new friends and some who may not be so nice.
Dubbed an "epic story of friendship and destiny," the film stars Reubens and Manganiello who are best friends in real life. Jessica Pohly, Alia Shawkat and Stephanie Beatriz are also in the cast. John Lee directed with the script written by Reubens and Paul Rust. Reubens and Judd Apatow are producing.
"Pee-wee's Big Holiday" is set to be released March 18 on Netflix.
