President Obama makes surprise appearance in 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' post-Super Bowl episode, in which he claims to know the winners of the Super Bowl for the next 50 years.

Stephen Colbert just had his first post-Super Bowl "Late Show" with President Obama and Chewbacca helped open it. In a pre-taped segment which he initially claimed was broadcast live, Colbert played a long-distance game of catch.

He first tossed the ball to soldiers in Afghanistan and then to astronaut Scott Kelly at the International Space Station. When Kelly tried to toss it back to Colbert, it somehow landed into the hands of Chewbacca, who later threw it back to Colbert.

Colbert then threw it to a "tall guy with really big ears," who's none other than the President. "President Obama, did you watch the game, sir?" the host asked. "Of course I did," the President said, "After every Super Bowl, I call the winning team to congratulate them. And sometimes I call the losing team, especially if I bet on them."

When Colbert reminded him that gambling was illegal, Obama jokingly replied, "I'm the president. I hereby pardon myself." As their conversation went on, it was revealed that the segment was filmed last week.

Though so, Obama still knew the winner. "Of course I do. It was the Denver Broncos," he said. The Broncos indeed won Super Bowl 50 over the Carolina Panthers with a final score of 24-10. The President went on claiming that he knew the winners of the Super Bowl for the next 50 years.

"All the Super Bowl winners for the next 50-years are written on the back of the Constitution," he revealed. "It's the plot for 'National Treasure 3', which is written on the back of the Declaration of Independence."

Obama ended the segment by throwing the ball back to the studio, but it headed to the wrong direction and landed into the hands of First Lady Michelle Obama, who scolded him for throwing a ball in the White House.
