FOX's "The Rocky Horror Picture Show Event" has added Tony-winning actress Annaleigh Ashford to its cast. She is cast as castle groupie Columbia, who was originally played by Nell Campbell in the 1975 musical comedy horror film.

Ashford, who has a series regular role as Betty Dimello on Showtime's "Masters of Sex", joins the previously announced cast members, including Laverne Cox (Dr. Frank-N-Furter), Victoria Justice (Janet), Ryan McCartan (Brad), Adam Lambert (Eddie), Reeve Carney (Riff Raff), Staz Nair (Rocky) and Tim Curry, the original Frank-N-Furter, who returns to play the show's Criminologist Narrator.

"The Rocky Horror Picture Show" follows sweethearts Janet and Brad who stumble upon the creepy mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a sexually ambiguous, flirtatious alien mad-scientist. Frank is holding an annual Transylvanian science convention to introduce Rocky Horror, an attractive man created solely to fulfill Frank's desires.

Cox recently said at the SAG Awards that she had met Curry and talked with him about her role. "It's just a dream come true. It's so amazing," she told ET. "Just getting to hang out with Tim Curry has been a dream come true. He is hilarious and [I'm] getting to talk to him about the character and my sort of take on it."

She added, "He wants me to do my own thing with it and it's really been that kind of thing. We sort of talked about what he was thinking when he did it, and we talked about his intentions with certain moments."

Kenny Ortega will direct the TV remake, which is scheduled to premiere this fall. Filming begins in Toronto in March.
