Chris Hemsworth has finally addressed his brother Liam Hemsworth's rumored reconciliation with Miley Cyrus. Chris made the comments while attending a gala celebrating his role as Australia's global tourism ambassador at Bryant Park in New York City on Monday, January 25.
"I'm happy if he's happy, whatever he's doing in life," Chris told ET when asked about his younger brother's possible reconciliation with his ex-fiancee. "I can't confirm any of that but, you know, he's smart [and] he's happy."
While the "Thor" actor remained tight-lipped about Liam's relationship status with Miley, he opened up more about his own plans for this upcoming Valentine's Day with his wife Elsa Pataky. Chris said he's got "lots of romantic stuff" planned. "I can't tell you," he added, "Can't give it away, but it's going to be special."
The "Avengers: Age of Ultron" actor "like to think" of himself as a romantic guy, adding, "[I] can't say I succeed all the time but it's the thought that counts."
During his recent appearance on Australia's "Kyle & Jackie O" radio show, Chris was asked if his brother had reunited with Miley. At the time, he said, "Not that I know of, mate. I would find out through the press. I find out last most of the time."
