In addition to showing interest in a superhero movie role, the 25-year-old actress admits to having interest in working behind the camera as a director.

AceShowbiz - Kristen Stewart wants to try something new in her career. The 25-year-old actress, who is known for her role as Bella Swan in romance fantasy film "Twilight", told E! News at the Sundance Film Festival premiere of her indie drama "Certain Women" that she wanted to star in a superhero movie.

Asked how often she got offers from big movie franchises, Kristen coyly said, "I don't know. They're not too common." The "American Ultra" actress added, "Trust me, I would love to find a big doozy of a movie that's interesting and worthwhile."

Later on, Kristen was asked if the "interesting and worthwile" movie was a superhero movie. "Maybe," she replied, adding, "Go print that. I can't wait to play a superhero."

In addition to showing interest in a superhero movie role, Kristen expressed her interest in working behind the camera. Asked if she would direct a film, the actress said, "Hopefully as soon as humanly possible." She explained, "I really want to. I have to find the right thing. I started working when I was 9. I love this industry. I love what movies can do so I'll find my story."

Kristen recently made headlines as she commented on the gender pay gap issues. She said of the pay gap, "Guys make more money because their movies make more money ... it makes sense." She then advised actresses who complained about the pay gap, "Instead of sitting around and complaining about that, do something. Go write something, go do something. And that's easy to say." She added, "Like, f**k, it's hard to get movies made. It's a huge luxury. Who gets to just make movies? But that subject is just so prevalently everywhere right now, and it's boring."
