A new image from 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' shows a gigantic Omega symbol on the ground, hinting at supervillain Darkseid's presence in the movie.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is laying the groundwork for many of the DC Extended Universe's characters in "Justice League: Part One". Now, a new image from "Batman v Superman" featured in Empire magazine shows possible presence of supervillain Darkseid.
The image shows Batman standing still as he looks at a destroyed city. What's more enticing is the Omega symbol on the ground. Darkseid is known for using Omega as his symbol in addition to possessing the Omega Effect which makes him able to kill his opponents who have superpowers like Superman.

Many fans point out what appears to be Parademons flying in the sky, indicating that Darkseid is on the horizon. Though Darkseid's gigantic Omega symbol appears in the new image, his presence in the movie hasn't been confirmed yet.
Empire magazine also releases some new still images from the movie. One of the images shows Batman and Superman facing each other with Batman apparently trying to strangle him.
A new trailer for the movie has also arrived online. The newly-released video shows Superman standing in a court as a senator says, "The world needs to know what happens and to know what you stand for. That kind of power is very dangerous." It also teases Aquaman's appearance underwater.
"Batman v Superman" stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Jason Momoa as Aquaman. The DC superhero movie is set to be released in North America on March 25.
