Get ready for Xander Cage's return! Vin Diesel has been training hard to prepare for the filming of "XXX: The Return of Xander Cage" and he documented the process in several pictures which he shared via Instagram on Friday, January 22.
In his two latest Instagram posts, the hunky actor was seen skateboarding. "Training for Xander is already fun, so looking forward to filming," he captioned one of the photos. He wrote alongside the other snap, "Today we train on the Ocean. Will keep you posted."
But the training has not always been fun as it sometimes can be rough. Previously, the "Fast and Furious" star took to the photo-sharing site to show his bleeding arm, which was injured during the training. "Night training can be a little... Haha. Welcome to the Xander Zone," he wrote in the caption.
In "XXX: The Return of Xander Cage", Diesel will reprise his role as the title character, who reportedly will return to the National Security Agency after an eight-year absence. Samuel L. Jackson is also back to reprise his role as Augustus Gibbons, while Ruby Rose, Conor McGregor and martial-arts expert Jet Li are cast in new roles.
Filming had begun in the Philippines in December and will move to Toronto in February before moving again to the Dominican Republic. No release date for the film is announced yet.
