Tyga doesn't look far for companion. The rapper was seen stepping out with a girl who looks a lot like on-/off-girlfriend Kylie Jenner on Thursday, January 21.
The girl, who sports gray-dyed hair, is identified as 23-year-old model Val Mercado. She and Tyga were joined by a number of friends while shopping in Beverly Hills. Meanwhile, Jenner was close by that evening, hitting celebrity hotspot The Nice Guy in West Hollywood with some pals.
According to TMZ, Tyga and Mercado had hung out together in Paris last December when he was there for a show. He allegedly is interested in Mercado's music since she is also an aspiring singer.
Their separate outings prompt questions whether Tyga and Jenner are still dating. The couple was last seen together early last week when they held hands for a movie date in Hollywood. They also went to a doctor's office that week in Beverly Hills. The couple has not been seen in public together since.
The outing came after a 14-year-old model said Tyga sent her unwanted and uncomfortable messages. His camp denied the wrongdoing, saying he only tried to sign her to his music label and that she lied about her age. Rumors are also circulating about Tyga cheating on Jenner with Brazilian model Annalu Cardoso.
