A new threat comes in the form of an old foe in the next episode of 'The Flash' featuring Matthew Letscher as the Reverse Flash.

"Death itself is reversed" in the next episode of "The Flash". The first season's major villain, Reverse Flash, returns and it is enough to explain why Cisco freaks out in a preview for the new episode. Guest star Matthew Letscher slips in the green costume as he claims, "I am the one thing you cannot stop."
For those who are wondering how this could happen, you are not alone. Eddie (Rick Cosnett) sacrificed himself in the first season in order to stop his descendant Eobard Thawne/Reverse Flash, who was portrayed by Tom Cavanagh at the time, and Det. Joe West thought "he should be erased from existence, right?"
Aptly titled "The Reverse-Flash Returns", the episode will air Tuesday, January 26 at 8/7c on The CW. When Cisco gets a vibe of Eobard Thawne (Matthew Letscher), Barry and the team don't believe it. But, after an attack at Mercury Labs, Christina McGee (guest star Amanda Pays) confirms that the Reverse Flash is back. Meanwhile, Iris and Francine (guest star Vanessa A. Williams) share a nice moment that brings Iris closer to her brother, Wally.
