The 'Milk' actor is undeterred by the controversies surrounding his secret meeting with the infamous Mexican drug kingpin.

AceShowbiz - Sean Penn broke his silence amid reports that he was under investigation for interviewing the infamous drug kingpin El Chapo. "I've got nothin' to hide," so the actor wrote in a brief email to The Associated Press following the secret meeting.
Penn was interrogated by Mexican authorities after he met Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman in October with the help of Mexican actress Kate del Castillo. Their meeting was later published by Rolling Stone in January, just one day after the criminal was re-captured.
It's unclear if Penn had anything to do with El Chapo's latest arrest but in the mag's article, the actor called the fugitive someone who "was not to be f***ed with." El Chapo was first arrested in 1993 but he managed to escape from a high-security prison in 2001.
